The 5 Best Campsites in Anglesey for Families
Coastline, countryside, castles, and chip shops — the travel brochure for Anglesey as a family holiday practically writes itself!
This fantastic part of Wales is a hugely popular spot for weekends away and summer holidays, and that’s because there’s so much to do and see. In fact, between us all on the Avenue 85 team, we’ve got lots of stories about our favourite beaches, opinions on which café does the best hot chocolate, and advice on how to keep the kids entertained when the heavens open up.
But beyond all that, we know there’s one thing that makes a huge difference to how much you enjoy yourselves, and that’s where you choose to stay. In our family, we’ve always been big campers so this naturally becomes our accommodation of choice every time! And luckily, Anglesey has some brilliant campsites.
So here are our five best family campsites in Anglesey which we think are well worth having on your radar. Some are right by the coast for the surfers and swimmers, some are a bit more centrally located if you fancy getting out towards the mountains, but all of them are exactly what a great camping trip is all about.

The Best Family Campsites in Anglesey (Our Top 5 Picks)
For our top five, we looked for the kind of places that actually work when you’re camping with kids; aka the best family campsites in Anglesey that balance comfort, space, and location.
So we’ve included some practical information, family-friendly features, and you’ll also find a few tips from us to help you prep for the trip.
Please note that all the information gathered here is, to the best of our knowledge, correct at the time of writing. But please check the official website for each campsite for the most up-to-date travel and visitor information.
