mens night & loungewear

Take it easy in soft, comfortable mens nightwear and loungewear, perfect for relaxation. From breathable summer pyjamas and thick winter pyjamas to fleece dressing gowns for men and the much-loved Snuggaroo range, these essentials are designed for fully enjoying your downtime throughout all seasons.

What is the difference between nightwear and loungewear?

Nightwear is designed to be comfortable in bed, with lighter fabrics, smoother seams and fewer bulky details. Loungewear is intended for relaxing while awake and can include heavier hoodies, joggers, robes and wearable blankets. Some pieces do both, but a thick borg or sherpa garment may be too warm and restrictive for sleeping.

Is cotton or fleece better for pyjamas and loungewear?

Cotton is breathable and usually better for sleeping or warmer rooms. Fleece and borg trap more heat and work well for cold evenings, draughty homes and lounging after outdoor activity. Synthetic fleece dries quickly but can feel clammy if you overheat. Choose by room temperature and use, not simply by which fabric feels softest in the shop.

How oversized should a wearable blanket or lounge hoodie be?

It should allow free arm movement and room over clothing without the cuffs falling over the hands or the hem becoming a trip hazard. One-size designs can fit very differently by height. Check garment dimensions and sleeve construction, especially for children or shorter adults, rather than assuming an extremely large fit is automatically more comfortable.

Should I size up in pyjamas for comfort?

Not automatically. Pyjamas should allow turning, sitting and bending without pulling, but too much excess fabric can twist in bed and create bulky waistbands or sleeves. Use the stated chest, waist and hip measurements and consider whether the fabric stretches. For a relaxed fit, choose the intended relaxed cut before adding an extra size.

How do I keep fleece loungewear soft?

Wash it according to the label at a moderate temperature, avoid excessive fabric conditioner and high tumble-dryer heat, and wash with similar soft fabrics rather than abrasive zips or towels. High heat can flatten fleece fibres or damage elastic trims. Shake and reshape the garment after washing, then allow it to dry fully before storing.
