The standard Four Seasons robe is the warmer, more substantial option, typically using a soft Borg-style lining for cold beaches and winter sidelines. Lite versions reduce bulk and insulation, making them easier to carry and more comfortable in milder weather. Choose the Lite for mobility and shoulder-season use; choose the full robe when post-swim warmth is the priority.

A 3K waterproof rating with taped seams is suitable for showers and everyday exposure, especially when the robe is worn over wet kit for a limited period. It is not the same protection as a high-rated technical mountain shell during hours of driving rain. For beach changing, dog walking and sports sidelines, construction, hood coverage and wind protection matter alongside the number.
