NosiLife fleece combines insulation with built-in insect-repellent and odour-control technology on selected garments. It is useful for travel and outdoor use where bugs and repeated wear are concerns. It does not replace repellent on uncovered skin and should be layered according to temperature like any other fleece.

Grid fleece uses raised channels to balance warmth, breathability and moisture movement at relatively low weight. High-pile fleece traps more air and often feels warmer while stationary but is bulkier and can allow wind through. Choose grid construction for active layering and pile for low-activity comfort.

Higher hand or chest pockets remain accessible above a hip belt, while low pockets may be covered and create pressure when filled. Check zip position with the pack on. Avoid carrying hard objects where shoulder or waist straps compress them against the body.

Standard fleece has no insect-repellent claim, and even NosiLife cannot stop insects reaching uncovered hands, face or gaps. In wind or rain, add the appropriate shell because fleece itself is not a full weather barrier.
